Hi George,

If someone was collecting telemetry data from a real world aircraft (manned
or unmanned) or a real world vehicle of any kind, and then passing that into
FlightGear to create a slaved virtual view, and if that copy of FlightGear
was registered with the multiplayer system (just like any other simulator
pilot), then that real world vehicle would appear on our multiplayer server
just like any other multiplayer entity, and in fact, no one else would
really have any way of knowing if the entity was driven by real data,
simulated data, or a replay of real data. (I hope that makes some sort of
sense.)

I'm not sure if there is a critical real world use of this sort of thing,
but I think it's at least pretty cool. Now I think we have some sort of
view manager feature where we can watch the sim relative to the location of
some other AI/multiplayer entity, right? So theoretically, anyone could
watch in FlightGear from the perspective of the real aircraft (if a real
aircraft was driving a FlightGear session.)

Regards,

Curt.
