No - sounds like a good idea to me. I use the wheel heavily for knob twisting like for the kx165 and it's quite annoying if you trash your trim when turning the wheel and leaving the hotspot/pick area. I learned to like the trim function as well but never used it in View mode.My vote is for the zoom mode!
