I ABSOLUTELY agree with Jon ;=))

I guess I should have said - no reason why you should
not use it if :-
(a) you know what you are doing ;=))
(b) have the master switch on!
(c) have the server running, chosen a port, host...
(d) have all the data installed, chopped, arrayed, fitted...
(d) etc, etc, etc...

What commands did you feed it? What output directory? What
work directory? What server host? What server port? Did you
choose rude or polite, overwrite or not? And finally,
what load directories did you feed it?

Then I MIGHT have an idea why fgfs-tools-client crashed ;=))

It is most certainly not to be run with a <blank> command
line, it has NO --help, -h, -? options, and does not
check of command options as entered... read the source
src/BuildTiles/Parallel/client.cxx...
