A local Sacramento TV station did a story on the US Forest Service simulator
facility today. This is a facility that I helped build (through my
partnership with ATC Flight Simulator). They have 5 simulator stations
linked together plus a separate control room with several more
desktop/joystick pilot stations, all linked together.

Disclaimer: the software you see running is actually another product based
on a reno air racing game extended to do the water bombing stuff. However,
all these simulators can be dual booted into Linux and run the FlightGear
based FAA certified IFR training system. Two of the stations have 7 out the
window displays, and one of them has 5 out the widow displays.
If you don't mind a 350Mb download, here's a video of an approach into
Ranger Creek, WA (6WA8) in one of the stations with 7 out-the-window
displays (running FlightGear of course since it's my movie.) :-)
