Hi Josh,
According to Sandi (knwon female meber and blind too) it is quite usuable. So
much as I know it needs just a small add-on script to steer the aircrafts. I'm
sure she will answer if she reads it here.
to 2.: the whole sim is editable, and so much as I know all programm functions
can be made use with the keybord.

Hello,
My name is Josh Kennedy. I am blind and use a
screen reader called NVDA www.nvda-project.organd jaws from
www.freedomscientific.com . I have
the following comments to make about flightGear.
1. according to another source it's halfway
accessible.
2. the menus are a custom control. Could you please
add a standard menu bar, and keyboard equivalents for all program functions so
blind and vissually impaired people can use this program?
3. I have not yet downloaded the open source free
flightgear flight simulater. I am a bit hesitant to do so because of the
accessibility concerns still standing.
