Or is it just wait the 'time'? And yes, Jari, I was aware that the MAC OS should actually be named something like - Apple-GUI-on-top-of-unix ;=)) thus is case sensitive... As you may know in Bill's OSes the use of upper case, initially 8.3 format, files names dates back to pre-1981 when only the UPPERCASE name was kept in the disk FAT. Now NTFS actually 'keeps' the case sensitive file name in its tables, but most of the 'tools', 'commands', tend to wash this away... And in fact, although the entry is missing for some files, there is a 'dir /X' command to show an UPPERCASE 8.3 file name as well... But this is more about removing unused 'duplicates' from FG data than an expose on disk file systems, and relative merits, or lack there of ;=)) I hope the other SIX(6) will disappear soon.
