I wouldn't envision a torrent for the entire ftp site, but a
couple targeted torrents for specific popular items would be a great
addition.
I managed to figure out how to use ktorrent to download an iso image once
... maybe a year ago. That's as far as my own knowledge and experience
goes.
But if we have someone with the expertise, the bandwidth, and the time to
set up a torrent seed, I'd love to link to that from the FlightGear server
an offer it as an option for download a few targeted large files. The 2.0.0
windows setup.exe is quite large now, and there will be a *lot* of people
downloading it, so that is an excellent candidate. Anyone want to jump on
this?
