Aircraft's Database Site

http://fg-aircraft.appspot.com/

I started on this project, but need some more time to "develop" soon...
Indeed I need Help.. anyone for some "styling", "ideas".. graphics, xml
parsing, atom/rss feeds.. etc ?

The idea is to have an "aircraft" database,

atmo (and still working on this part).. it "imports" data from CVS, and
-set.xml and then push onto the cloud.
(Note. It GAE and an object store, nto a database, so live testing it
more arkward, and runs from my machine)
It also presents images from git, and pulls from other sources eg
www.flightgear.org/galleryXX

The stage/parts and wishlist .. I'm at and playing with are and wish to
achieve is a central "index"
* it a local script on my machine that cvs up's, then walks the tree for
-set.xml and writes to file as yaml
* its can query data and descriptions and push to cloud.
* it is linked to repositiries and data, these can be links to .zip,
svn, cvs or git, hg
* each aircraft will be created hofefully automagically somehow
* autodetection of "recent updates" to aircraft..
* user level, this emans having a ranking system, links to wiki, forums,
liveries, flying stats, etc etc
* linksing, feeds and integration into various hangars on eg
http://sydhangar.daffodil.uk.com/

Idea is to make it very "active" and exiting and constantly going
forward with a team ;-)

project is here

Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval
Try the new software tools for yourself. Speed compiling, find bugs
proactively, and fine-tune applications for parallel performance.
See why Intel Parallel Studio got high marks during beta.
