For RL flight planning charts are available for levels (pressure levels) FL50(850mb), FL100(700mb), FL180(500mb), FL240(400mb), FL300(300mb), FL390(200mb) and FL450(150mb). This should be sufficient for aloft data. Boundary layer is another story, especially in rough terrain. I doubt we will ever be able to simulate this by entering data into a form. > On the other hand, if you like a more simplified wind model (like in the > current menu) it is possible to user-specify it completely. > > That's why I'd be interested what people who fly with offline weather > (don't seem to be that many apart from myself...) would like to use. The environment controller is onve of the places to get your feet wet when touching the wrong parts. I know from experience ;-) Torsten ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
