And I made a life aloft-data fetch-daemon for the jeppesen weather service some time ago: http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/Howto:_Fetch_live_aloft_data Havn't used it for a while, so I don't know if it still works. I think the mentioned patch is no longer required.
