I was thinking about the handling of wind and the rendering of some cloud types in the local weather system. Both have already been discussed in the forum topic about the local weather system.
As far as the water shader is concerned, it would be great if the results would depend more on the type of water (i.e. ocean, river, lake etc.), but that has already been discussed as well. I hope the water shader will be in git soon... I had nothing new to add. Let's just say I was impressed by progress and felt the urge to vent my emotion. m Op 25-09-10 12:35, [email protected] schreef: >> I was experimenting with the new water shader and local weather, and I >> could not help myself thinking how sad it is, that the more perfect the >> simulation gets, the more noticeable the remaining weak points become. >> > Well, it would turn into a useful philosophical observation once you could > tell us what you see as the weak points, then we could have a discussion > how to address them... > > Cheers, > > * Thorsten > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances > and start using them to simplify application deployment and > accelerate your shift to cloud computing. > http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev > _______________________________________________ > Flightgear-devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
