Sadly not really - just to explain, the Mac launcher was written by Tatsuhiro, the Macflightgear.org maintainer - while I can just about understand RubyCocoa, problems like you're experiencing are some way beyond my comfort zone. Hopefully Tat will respond to this thread, but he's generally quite busy.
