Just today, I received a PM from Hooray on the forums, mentioning my draft proposal for a strategy to implement AI ATC in Flightgear. Sadly, the thread received little feedback back then. Durk, to my knowledge, was still somewhere on the move, too. Meanwhile, so I've heard, he has made some efforts to implement basic ATC with takeoff permission, so I've understood.
