The problem here is that still the 'old' gui is on GIT while the new rendering system is active, so there is a mismatch. You have dynamical weather on, and what the system is prepared to do is to create information for a quadtree structure for a new cloud which doesn't need or have that structure, so the parameter isn't defined. This doesn't have a proper fix yet because the problem will disappear on its own when the option 'dynamical weather' is gone from the gui - in the new system clouds move with the wind anyway, so there is no need for the opion any more I have just started on the new gui, and he first sketch is in my forum-posted snapshot of the terrain haze shader. But (as you observed), unfortunately my laptop seems to be gone for good - apparently the motherboard is dead and can't be fixed locally, so while I don't really have data loss, it seems I need either a new computer or send it in, both of which may take a while. Currently I'm sitting on my 8 year old spare laptop, which is good for emails, but doesn't have either performance or harddisk space for a Flightgear development environment. If there are serious problems with Local Weather till I have a new setup, I can probably comment on many issues without running the code, but I can't actually maintain or debug the code :-( Cheers, * Thorsten ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your Android app more play: Bring it to the BlackBerry PlayBook in minutes.
