Hi, I just pushed the fgdata to change to enable using the (recently added) internal file dialogs. This should cause exactly zero visible change in file dialog functionality, except on Mac, where we now use the native panels instead. (Which are considerably more friendly / less scary than the PUI ones).
If anyone experiences any odd issues with PUI file dialogs (that did not previously exist!) on other platforms, please let me know. And obviously if you're on Mac, let me know if everything behaves as expected. Creating native support for other platforms, especially Windows, ought to be pretty trivial (a couple of hours at most, I'd guess) if desired. Just ping me for details if it's not totally obvious from the interface class (FGFileDialog) and Cocoa implementation.
