It's fine that people are interested in something, but could we please tone down the rhetorics and refrain from arguments 'I am interested in X, hence it must be one of the most important aspects of flight simulation'? I've been interested in flight simulation for more than 20 years, but till today it did not a single time occur to me that head tracking would be one of the most important aspects of it. I naively assumed it had something to do with primarily simulating aerodynamics and solving equations of motion and secondary with providing a credible environment in terms of realistic instrument behaviour and more or less realistic visual cues (visibility, cloud coverage) and wind interaction with aerodynamics, and then all else. Might just be me. Here's a choice list of other things which have previously been claimed to be absolutely crucial / among the most important aspects / the reason for FGs demise if they're not implemented asap: * shadows cast by aircraft * space flight capability up to the moon * meter-scale exact synchronization of clouds over MP * real-time real air traffic * orbital maneuvering capable numerical accuracy of the MP protocol (...) Strangely enough, we still don't have all of them but FG is very much alive and kicking. Have a nice weekend, * Thorsten ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites. So do we.
