I am having 3 problems with version 0.7.10 that I did not have with
version 0.7.9.
(1) KSFO has strange white gaps in the scenery at various places
arround the perimiter of the airport. I compared the size of the
various *.gz files in w123n37 and one had significantly increased in
size from version 0.7.9. when I exchanged this file with the one from
7.9, the white gaps were gone (but so were the runway lights).
(2) My POV hat no longer works even though neither system.fgfsrc or
.fgfsrc had not changed from my 0.7.9 install. When I run 0.7.9, the
POV still works to change my view lat and long.
(3) I have never had the propeller pitch work with the syntax generated
by fgjs. Since I had to remove the "s" from views in the fgfsrc.js
generated by fgjs to get the POV to work in 0.7.9, I am guessing that
there is a small syntax error in the pitch line.

Also, the c172 seems to have a much higher pitch propeller in version
0.7.10.

My System: RH7.2 Linux on AMD XP +1800 with 512MB DDR and 80GB Seagate
Baracuda IV. USB CH Flight Sim Yoke and USB CH ProPedals. Had to
comment out the button check in joydev.c, and recompile the kernel to
get the ProPedals recognized.

I love the runway lights and would like to keep them w/o the varying
white patches. Thanks to all that have worked hard to make this sim
possible. I have marked up the Installation and Getting Started
(version 0.5.1) document with what appear to be small errors. Do you
need any help proofing these docs?
Regards,
Dave
