For what it's worth, a friend of mine has Mac OS X box and I just sat down with him today for a few minutes to try out the Mac binary and was clued into a few issues. I could tell immediately that for those people who have only clicked on Mac icons their entire life, running flightgear from the command line will understandably involve a learning curve that (at least initially) is likely to be pretty steep. I'm working on adding Mac OS X support to my CD and hopefully some of the issues I have to iron out with that will allow me to repackage Darrell's binary for download in a way that is a bit more friendly to new flightgear users on the mac platform. If nothing else we should be able to come up with a step by step list of exactly what to type. And if we work really hard, we may even be able to get things setup so there is an icon a person can just click on. :-) Regards, Curt. -- Curtis Olson IVLab / HumanFIRST Program FlightGear Project Twin Cities [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minnesota http://www.menet.umn.edu/~curt http://www.flightgear.org _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-users
