Hi, At various times in the past few months the subject of the broken ATI Radeon driver for linux has surfaced. This is the problem where the instruments on the panel don't show up (but the rest of the display seems OK).
I was wondering if anyone has reported this to the dri-users list and if not, just how one should go about doing that. I'm not a graphics person so I'm not really in a position to isolate the problem (at least not very efficiently). I did look at it a while back for a few nights because an older version of FG worked fine on my ATI Radeon equipped laptop. I *believe* it was version 0.79, which may have been just about the time the textures were added to the panel display, but I forget. Anyway, I was wondering what was up with reporting this bug. And volunteering to help if that seems reasonable.
