Well Hell...

After reading a bunch of stuff.. and looking over the file in 
/usr/share/doc/joystick-1.2.15/joystick.txt

I don't think a saitek st50 (ie. CHEAP!) joystick works with RedHat 8.0 ://

If anyone does happen to know how to make it work that would be cool...

But.. if my wife will let me... I'm gonna go see what they have at the local 
store! hehehe...

Any suggestions on what to get?  I only have about 20 bucks to spend.
