Hello Erik,

What I've done atm is to copy

Input/Joysticks/Microsoft/sidedwinder-precision-pro.xml

to

/Input/Joysticks/Microsoft/swpp.xml

(swpp.xml isn't a good name but it was easy to type;)

and change the name entry to read "Mircosoft SideWinder Precision Pro" instead
of "Microsft SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick"

Then I added an entry for the new swpp.xml file in Joysticks.xml

Until I added the swpp.xml entry to Joysticks.xml, the file didn't seem to be
recognised and used.

While doing this isn't exactly a problem, it means I have to change the
standard distro files, which I'd rather avoid, hence the desire to add it in
via my .fgfsrc.

An alternative would be to copy the existing sidewinder-precision-pro.xml to
sidewinder-precision-2-joystick.xml, add a corresponding entry to
Joysticks.xml for it and then just change the name entry in
sidewinder-precision-pro.xml.

Then both types of Microsoft Precision Pro joysticks (those that report
themselves as "Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro" as well as those that
report themselves as "Microsoft SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick" should work.
