Thanks Erik, I was just wondering how to check out wich settings could improve my situation. I had 2 fps when starting and using your file, I got 45 -55 fps. Great! Just what I needed to get started tuning. I have an amd 700 mhz and geforce 256 card. I found i could enable sound and random-objects ,run default fog and clouds in 1024X768 res and still have nice fps ~20.
Good too see it's of any use.
FlightGear is really looking nice now with the new lighting, and I especially like the new scenery with glaciers and the smaller airports in Norway in place. Great work folks !
