first, thanks for the encouragement, I'll await the next release of scenery.
I use a Saltek ST90 USB joystick. I did use a Zykon joyrider pro (yoke and pedals) for a little while, just enough to lust after a good set!
At present both the J3 cub and DC3 start with a bright pale green screen and no detail. I am unable to use them.
I can't get the engines to run properly on the T6texan, OV10 and T38 even when starting with engines running.
I can fly the c172 once I get it up. Beechcraft 99 and C310 handle nicely although the beech seems odd with no animation. Flying at 5000 feet with propellers stationary and wheels down takes some getting used to.
The An225 seems to ignore the autopilot for altitude control and I have to fly it with the joystick jammed hard forward once it's in the air.
slightly off topic, has anyone flown the dc3 R4Dv3.5 by Bill Rambow and team in MSFS or CFS? The detail provided for the panel and controls is quite amazing with pumps, battery cart etc. The throttles, mixture and propeller pitch are excellent. Even has panel for captain and one for first officer.
