I've downloaded the cvs of SimGear, FlightGear and version 1.6.0 of PLIB. It compiled well, but I still have to install the base-package, but that will be for another day because I've alot of work to do :-s. Curt, if I had the time, I'd really like to change the files ;-).On Sun, 21 Mar 2004 20:07:18 -0600 "Curtis L. Olson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Steven,
I'm guessing that your compiler is choking on the cchar type. This is defined in plib's net module. You may want to verify that you do indeed have the latest plib installed and that slackware doesn't also have some older version tucked away that your compiler is finding first.
cchar is no longer defined in the latest netSocket.h, 1.18. For whatever reason Steve deleted the typedef.

Hmmm, does that put us in a situation where if we make this work with 1.8.0 it won't work with previous versions and visa versa? We should probably change our code to work with plib-1.8.0 ... does anyone want to send me fixed files?
Thanks,
Curt.
Thanks alot folks,
Steven
