On completion of this, I installed my Herules 3D graphics card and DirectX 8 <--- could this be a problem? After installing flightgear 0.9.3 (which worked fine on the old system, with the above graphics card), I select the default runway and plane and keyboard input. The flightgear display window pops up and I can hear the audio, but there are no graphics to be seen in the window - it's transparent enabling the windows beneath to be seen. The keyboard inputs work OK as I have hear the revs increasing and I'm pretty sure that I managed to take-off blind ;-) There is an error in the ms-dos box, which says something like unable to find objects.txt (or something like this - I didn't make a note last night as it was very late -1am), so I guess that this is related. I cannot find this file, yet the same package was used on my original install, which was OK. I realise that the above is all rather sketchy - I'm used after a few suggestions before I get home tonight to fix the issues. Many thanks, Mark _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-users
