Sorry, I don't understand. The aircraft is on the ground and stopped (just the engine running).

To get to that state the trimming routine needs some time to settle down. Compared to humans computers need some more time to put something on the ground ...

It's not a routine. Most of FlightGear's model handling is done using XML configuration files and it represents the same behavior of a propeller in real life.
