I've done a bit more testing with this and if I move
the joystick through its full range of movement, axes
0 and 1 come to rest at 0 most of the time. Axis 2
however (the twist for the rudder) consistently stops
at 489. Also axes 0 and 1 occasionally seem to get
stuck at other values (anything up to + or - 3000).

Overall I can cope for the moment by adjusting the
trim, but I think it's probably time to start thinking
about a new joystick. :-)
