1. { }       turn left *and* right magneto switch on
2. OOOOO     manually inject fuel (yes, five times Shift-o)
3.           increase throttle to 1/3 (or more?)
4. <SPACE>   fire starter cartridge
5. B         release parking brake

I'm still having trouble with starting the Spitfire; if I follow the start procedure, I just get a 'cough' on the starter and a fraction of a rotation.


Bit like the engine has suffered 'hydraulic lock really' :-/

I have the same problem. I find it start only if I replace the <Space> by a click on the engine starting pushbutton on the panel.
(The second black one from right to left, just over the 2 fuel cock lever).


Everything else is OK.
