Hi,
If you have the time, and the interest, you could go about building your own... See if you can get some parts of interest (such as control sticks) from scrap yards. All that there is, inside a db15 port joystick, is a potentiometer, of resistance varying from 0-50kOhm (generally) linear, for the axes, and a two pin short for a button. The port is capable of upto 4 axes and four buttons. I live in India, so i wouldn't know the prices for these potentiometers as they are sold in your place, but i get them here for around 6 Rupees each, which is approximately 14c .Really good ones (nearly dead stable) are around 15 Rs, which is around 35c. You should be able to get the pinout diagrams anywhere on the internet. If you have the time, try it out, its loads of fun! regards, Srichand -- Srichand Pendyala http://srichand.net/ Calvin: "I'm being educated against my will! My rights are being trampled!"
