I think this is where the problem is.... I strongly believe you need a better graphics card. My computer's 32MB onborard via chipset AGP failed to bring up flightgear and used to stall in a similar fashion. I now have a Nvidia 128MB fx5200, and it all works fine. -- Cheers!
