Hello everyone,
After many attempts and lost patience, I'm finally ready to commit to
FlightGear. X-plane sucks. I want a flight simulator for one reason;
IFR practice. I'm in search of a panel much like ASA's On Top
software or Elite's flight sim. I found the C172-610x panel, and
while it's beautiful, it doesn't have the radio stack and the minimal
outside view, which is what I need. I'm currently using the binary OS
X version of FlightGear. I would use a self-compiled version, and
have tried several times, but got frustrated with the perpetual error
messages. I noticed that the included aircraft in the OSX version is
very much stripped down from the CVS version. Can someone tell me if
there's an IFR panel that I'm looking for somewhere in the CVS
version? Or am I going to have to start from scratch? (Or maybe not
quite from scratch, using but resizing the 610x instruments).
