I got FlightGear 0.9.8 compiled and installed (Mandrake 10.1).
When I run it, the initial splash screen appears briefly, then the
program dies.
Here are the messages to the screen:
disabling TCL support
fcntl: Invalid argument
fcntl: Invalid argument
./fgfs: symbol lookup error: ./fgfs: undefined symbol: alutLoadWAVFile
When I compiled SimGear, there was a problem because the OpenAL I
downloaded was a newer version. I had to modify the declarations of the
alutInit() function. Seems like this problem may be related.
Any idea how to fix this?
