Hi Tomy
I presume this xml file is in the Tracker folder.
You also need a xml file in the models folder.Have
a look at the xml files in the 737 folder to see what xml
files should go in what folder.
The scrip you have written below should go in the tracker folder
and then the xml file that calls the model should be in the models
folder with your 3DS model.As I say have a look at the 737 aircraft to
get an idea what xml files go in what folder.

Cheers
Innis

 [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes

hello everyone,

I created a Aircraft model with 3D Studio max.

I exported it in .3DS format

I installed the lastest version of flightgear 0.9.8

i created a new folder in the aircraft directory...

i put my file in a Model folder

and i created a .xml file

i wrote that :

<PropertyList>
 <sim>
  <model>
   <description>Tracker</description>
   <path>Models/tracker.3ds</path>
   <texture-path>./Textures</texture-path>
  </model>
 </sim>
</PropertyList>

When i start Flightgear , the launcher shows me all the models.
When i choose
mine, i see it perfectly

then i click next and start the simulation...

I see the starting screen and after few seconds it closes itself
and the DOS windows say that the simulation is aborted without
explaination.

can you help me ?

Sorry for my english i'm a french guy

Thank you
Tomy
