Hi Syd,
I am very sorry about my mistake but as you and also Dave corrected me I now
know who did/does what with the B 1900 D aircraft :-). I am always very
interested who is behind such a great job and all my honours go to you!

What other panel funcionality would you suggest
Well, I newer would have asked for this as I think the developers should do
their work as they like to do but I thought of

a) Autopilot (mode) panel - make the buttons working (select/deselect a mode)
Ok, I know that at the present status you have to use the menu-window to type in the wished values, but it would be a help to de/select it when necessary by clicking
  the panel buttons
b) Heading bug (-> EHSI)
Can now only set by the menu-window input field value, would be fine if it
could be set
by a form of autopilot control panel
c) Overhead panel
  Working switches for lights
d) Master switch
Batterie, avionics, etc .. -> handle starting-up and -down procedures
e) Flaps, Gear
Although I switch them with joystick buttons it could be a help for those
users who
don't have a stick with *a lot* of buttons
But I recognize that this has not first priority :-)
f) working instruments on the copilots side (v/s, alt, speed ..).
When looking out of the right window you could scan these primary instruments if flying "by hand".

Just some ideas how to improve it, did not think of more complicated things
(EHSI improvements) as FlightGear at the actual state may not support these
things - but may be in 1 or 2 years :-)...

I am using the CVS version with FG 0.9.8 binaries as I am just learning how to
compile a CVS version with Cygwin under Win32. But not finished until now!
So, if you already implemented things I suggested this might be due to using
the newest CVS version together with the rather old FlightGear binaries (but it
works without any error!).

tips or suggestions from someone who knows this aircraft better
Sorry, sure you know much more about this aircraft than I do. I just like the real thing and also your FG-model :-)

Thank you once again for your hard work, also to Dave for his improvements

Regards
Georg EDDW
