Hi!
I downloaded the west europe sceneries (files
w010n30.tgz and w010n40.tgz) but when
I try to launch fgfs as
$ fgfs --lat=40.0 --lon=-10.0 or
$ fgfs --lat=40.0 --lon=-10.0 --in-air --altitude=5000
I only get a black screen!!!
Even the top menu bar does not show!
I need to issue ctrl-c in the console to terminate fg.
What's wrong?
Thanks
The answer is:
You must give --lat=40.1 and lon=10.1
or everything else but a full value .
because FG does not know how to process with a value which define the
beginning of a tile or the end of the other.
To add some clarification. For some reason our ground intersection code
can fail if you specify a starting point that is *exactly* on the corner
of a tile. A simple work around is to specify something like --lat=40.1
or --lat=40.00001 --lon=10.00001
