Hello all,
I'm a newbie on running FlightGear and I'm running in a
windows environment.
Here's a few questions:
1. When starting with the Launcher wizard, what is the
value I should enter for HOSTNAME in the Atlas prompt. The windows cmd ipconfig
shows that my address is 192.168.1.101. According to the Atlas instructions,
that is the value I should enter. Is this correct?
2. How do I get Atlas to display once I have FlightGear
running? Is there a shortcut key command or something?
3. The payload menu doesn't seem to work with the jbsim model.
Is this normal? Should I create different aircraft loading scenarios by creating
new planes and editing the xml files?
4. I had no problem getting the joysticks.xml file to point to
my Saitek Evo stick. But, it seems to come up with a left rudder bias when I
start FlightGear. What's the best way to correct this?
I'm really having a ball using FlightGear. I can't wait until
I know a bit more about configuring my setup. This simulator is amazing.
