Those frequently calling fgfs from a bash terminal may be interested in
a completion file for all fgfs options. Examples:
$ fgfs <TAB><TAB> list all available options
$ fgfs --timeof<TAB><TAB><TAB> complete to --timeofday= and list all
available daytimes
$ fgfs --airc<TAB>Cr<TAB> will autom. complete to --aircraft=Crusader
...
You just have to
(1) make sure that you are happy with the default "$FG_HOME" environment
variable (that is: $HOME/.fgfs), or explicitly set a different one
(2) call the script once with the --list option (this will create the
aircraft list under $FG_HOME/aircraft_list), and
(3) source the script from your ~/.bashrc, e.g.:
[ -e $FG_HOME/fgfs_bash ] && source $FG_HOME/fgfs_bash
