Hi Dave,

Sorry for the delay. I wanted to try and install the unix package for
FlightGear before requesting for more help.

In my first request, I was concerned with the windows package.
I have installed the flightgear 0.9.8 binary for windows.

Inside the A318_engine.xml file, there is the following comment : Author:
Aero-Matic v0.7
I have changed the property "position/h-sl-ft" to
"atmosphere/density-altitude" according to your second remark. I get the
message:
"Coefficient multipliers cannot create properties, check spelling?".

The aero file A318.xml works fine ( < FDM_CONFIG NAME... VERSION "1.65"
RELEASE="ALPHA">...Author: Aero-Matic v0.71 ) since I can  launched
flightgear using this file with the distribution default CFM56_5.xml engine
file.

I have created both A318_engine.xml and A318.xml files using the Aeromatic
tool which generated them on line at the JSBSim site.
I have installed the last jsbsim tool

Rony.
