FWIW -- There have been a few RedHat 7.1 issues with PLib and
there is a new bug fix release pending. FWIW Your problem
"no valid gl context" is usually related to the the buggy un-released
gcc that RedHat shipped initially or a bogus OpenGL instalation
Here is what I would do
Can you run the $FG_SRC / tests / gl_info test program ???
This will tell us if your OpenGL is installed properly
If so I reccomend using $PLib_SRC / examples / tux / tux_example
as a test program, if you can run this you should be able to run FGFS.
If you can't get the tux example working perhaps you should post
a 'help' message to the PLib list about your trials with 'tux_example'
