Well I gave that a try but I don't seem to have a "libGLUT" I do have a 
/usr/lib/libglut.so.3.7.0 and two symlinks pointing to that so I basically made the 
same links in the /usr/X11R6/lib/ directory that I had in the /usr/lib/ but to no 
avail. Is libGLUT something different?
