I have looked at the help for adding scenery, and it looks like it's
outdated (or I downloaded the wrong scenery :-). Can someone explain
how to
install the scenery from downloading the TGZ file up to
extracting/moving
the scenery data? I am especially confused as to how I segregate the
data
into the Objects & Terrain folders.
Hi Seth,
There is some uptodate documentation on how to load scenery in the PDF
version of the Getting Started Guide - available on the 0.9.9 FG install
under the data/docs directory, or from here:
http://www.flightgear.org/Docs/getstart/getstart.pdf
See Chapter 1, section 2.1
Note that you have to look at the PDF version - the HTML version is
currently out of date.
Hope this helps. If it doesn't, let us know so we can update the doc for
future reference.
Does anyone know how to generate the html version of the manual? It
would be great to get that version caught up with the pdf version.
Regards,
Curt.
