hi, just an aside, I am running win me, was running FGv098a ok and
upgraded.... crashes on "generating sky elements"... smart money seems to be
on a video card problem. The Video driver ( for a nvidia GF2 MX is the
latest windows dirver..the nvidia one is anout 11 months older)....
Have posted to Devel with out being able to cure the problem. Running from
CYGwin (FGTOOLS) doesn't give any addition help. Have downloaded the latest
win32 patch...no difference.
The problem might be something that is common to running under both martin's
OS and win me.

You need to go to the nVidia site and get their latest driver. Have you
done
an nVidia driver build/install before? It can be daunting the first time.
