BTW I still can't figure out how to change countries while flying.
Isn't there anywhere to enter longitude and latitude, click, and your
plane is taken there? (Or something like that?).

Hi,
I assume you are on Windows O/S with FG Version 0.9.9
The easy way is to select from the main menu "Location" -> "Position
Aircraft (on ground)"
Then you have to input the ICAO code, ie. "EDDF", "KSFO" ...
Important: use capital chars for the code-input!
The "Select Airport from list" function does not work with my FG 0.9.9
(but with the CVS version)
The "Position Aircraft in air" option works but I did not use it a lot
as you have to restart the engine in air
If you are familiar with FG parameters you can also set --lon=xxxxx
--lat=xxxxx (--lon=8.081667 --lat= 53.855) to start at the wished
coordinates.
Just try yourself and experiment a little!
Hope this helps.
Regards
Georg EDDW
