It varies by the system it's installed on, but basically all you need to do is create yourself a directory for your scenery, and extract the file into it, then ensure that this new directory is added to your scenery path. Adding to the scenery directory included in the base package is generally considered a bad idea.

Also how come no distro's aircraft as noarch.rpm ?

Because distro specific packaging is left to the distros.
