Thank you for your replies, they gave me the right hint. I found a
little tool called "zebedee", which is able to tunnel udp connections
through a proxy. I have disabled package forwarding in my servers kernel
(for security reasons), but by using zebedee I can connect to
pigeond.net, get the greeting banner and see myself in the Map
(Unfortunetly there was no one else online, to check if I can see
anybody). 
By the way, I use Gentoo on both, my server and my FG Box and zebedee is
available via portage.
