I'm not familiar enough with MAC OS to be able to give specifics but I have

I'm new to FlightGear, but love it.
I'm having trouble adding scenery to the program.
I understand scenery files have to be extracted into the Scenery Folder,
but
I have no idea where that is.
I don't see a fgfs folder anywhere.
Can anyone help?
