I am new to Flightgear, and having a lot of fun with it. Thanks to all developers for this great program.
I have a nice tutorial that want me to start from the Redlands, CA airstrip at runway end "8".
I tried starting with --airport=L12 --runway=8, as well as setting the same position from the menu "Location>PositionOnGround".
In both cases plane turns as it stands slowly but at a clearly perceptible rate. Strangely (and consistently) in the former case it yaws to right, in the latter case to left. I measured a turn of about 30 degrees in 15 minutes.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?
