I'm glad that was the source of the problem. You can also change the
weather source from the Weather -> Weather Scenario menu item. Selecting
"Fair Weather" willg give very little wind and only a small amount of
cloud.

There were some strong winds a couple of nights ago in the SF bay area. 21
- 30 knots at KSFO itself, which made flying the FG j3cub rather fun. I
managed to land and stop within the white stripes at the beginning of the
runway!
