Hi, Jeffrey:
First, you should know that the scenery directories are compressed twice,
so that the first pass of a tool to decompress the files may yield a still
compressed directory. Ensure that your uncompressed directory is not a
"tar" file. If it is, uncompress again.
Second, once uncompressed, there should be two directories: "Objects" and
"Terrain" in the newly downloaded directory. You should take the
subdirectory "wXXnXX" (XX being the numbers you have downloaded) included
in "Objects" and put it next to the corresponding w130n30 subdirectory
(which was included in the base package) in the Objects directory
("c:/programfiles/flightgear/data/Scenery/Objects", probably).
Then do the same with Terrain/WXXnXX to
c:/programfiles/flightgear/data/Scenery/Terrain
Third, to see the airports of the new directory, when launching FG and
reaching the selection of airports, click "Refresh". You should see them
know,
