There is a F4U in the works over at GRTux (http://ghours.club.fr/tux/)

Currently I'm focussing on the Ju-52 model to be finished for the Linux
Tag. After that the Beau will next. But it's quite a lot of work to be
done (Interiour, the 3d Cockpit, view switching to the RadioOperators
seat...)
I opted for the 109 as my first attempt on modelling because it is a
small aircraft without too many specials (until I noticed that I had to
create EVERY Instrument from scratch...).
